Monthly Standings for January

 Here are the monthly standings for the month of January

Only a couple of game weeks make up this month but it demonstrated a couple of valuable FTL lessons.  Firstly one bad game week won't necessarily kill of your title winning aspirations and secondly, it always worthwhile being as prepared as you can be for the small weeks.  (of course with withdrawals, sometimes you also need a bit of luck.

Here is a breakdown of the scores for the top 6 at the end of the month.

Craig (Over served) was in a modest 45th place after a fairly average Australian Open.  He trailed the AO leader Devin by over 200 points and was by far the worst placed of the eventual top 6 for January at this stage.

But he bounced back in some style with a 5th place finish in Game Week 2 which was enough to overhaul the rest of the leaderboard and take the January prize.  His game week 2 team has 2 winners (Bublik and Shnaider) and a runner up in Alexendrova.

Congrats to Craig and also to the rest of the top 6.    Laurie takes 2nd spot, Elin 3rd spot and Devin, Andrea and Mohaib takes 4th, 5th and 6th respectively.
