The FTL Cup was a huge hit during the 2023 season and is here to stay. In order to be eligible to play the FTL Cup this season, a manager is required to have signed up for either Option 1 or Option 2 by the GameWeek 2 lockout.
For those that do not know, there are 2 parts to the FTL Cup - Group Stage (3 H2H matches), and a single elimination 128 team draw.
The Group Stage portion of the FTL Cup will start on GameWeek 3. The remainder of the Group Stage Matches will be played on GameWeek 5 and GameWeek 8.
Similar to last year, both the Winner and 2nd Place Finisher in each Group will move forward from the Group Stage, with the winner receiving a Round 1 bye to start the single elimination 128 team draw. In order to fill out the remainder of the 128 team bracket, a finite number of Lucky Losers will be selected as well.
The Group Stage rankings will be decided first by wins, and then by (most) points accumulated during the group stage. Seeding for the Draw will be completed by sorting the Group Stage Winners first by wins, and then by (most) points accumulated. The Lucky Losers will be sorted differently - strictly via the most points accumulated during the group stage.
