Welcome to everyone who has joined up to FTL 2025.
Its great to see the FTL community continually growing and I hope everyone enjoys the season whether they are a returning member or a newcomer.
There are plenty of ways of keeping in touch with FTL during the season. Right now you are reading from the blog which we regularly use to publish draws and weekly results and important updates relating to the game.
There is also a dedicated Fantasy Tennis League facebook group which everyone is welcome to join
fantasytennisleague on facebook
We also have a very active messenger group where there is always plenty of chat during the tennis and where you will be first to know about entry lists and draws. If you are on messenger and would like to join the group then please get in touch.
We have a page on X where I will publish results from time to time but there is not currently that much activity on there.
I have a online google sheet which i endeavour to maintain which shows the ATP/WTA schedule for the year and can help with team planning.
If you have any questions relating to FTL (rules, strategy etc) or if you have any ideas on expanding the game or improving communication about the game then please comment below or on the facebook page.
Regarding player price changes, are player prices locked in when they are added/traded to a roster, or do player prices adjust as the player remains on the roster. For example, if I had Keys on my roster for Week 1 (I wish), would her cost to be on my roster increase because of her good performance, or is her cost locked in at the Week 1 price?
ReplyDeleteThanks! Dan
Keys' price will go up, but so will your budget!
ReplyDeleteWhatever "cash" you have left over will stay the same, but your overall salary cap fluctuates with the value of the players that you own.
When you trade a player out, you trade them at whatever their current value is at that time. Savvy FTLers will look to trade in players whose price is about to increase and trade out players whose value is about to decrease. 🤑
