FTL2024 - MAINSHEET

The FTL2024 Mainsheet is available for the upcoming season.

The FTL2024 website lists a players points for an event, but doesn't breakdown how those points were awarded.  The mainsheet lists a players points for each match, and shows the ranking points that they were rewarded for the event.

The FTL CUP is also unavailable on the FTL2024 website, so the mainsheet will be where you can find all of the information regarding every H2H matchup and the Round Robin results for the season.

Never Miss a Lockout Again 🙌

I'm thrilled to announce that the FTL app can now send push notifications to your devices!

What are push notifications, you ask? They're the notifications you get on your phone and other devices that come directly from the server without you even needing to have the app/website open.

What does this mean? It means FTL will remind you when a Game Week's roster deadline is approaching. Initially, it will send out notifications at 24 hours and 2 hours before lockout. We will likely add some other useful notifications to the app as time goes on, but this one alone should be a huge help. I think pretty much everyone who has ever played FTL has missed a lockout at some point. 😅

How to Enable Push Notifications

When you go to your Team page, the app should ask you if you want to enable notifications. Please note that you have to click "Allow" twice. Once in the app and another time from your browser/device. If you don't want to get these notifications for some reason, you can just click "Cancel" on the first popup.

The second one is the important one. If you do not click "Allow" on that one, it is rather difficult to go back and change your mind later. You have been warned. :)

Please note that notification subscriptions are device-specific. You need to allow notifications separately on each device that you want to receive FTL notifications on. It is perfectly fine to allow the notifications on your phone but not on your computer (for example).

Mobile App

By the way... if you haven't already done so (or weren't aware), I highly recommend using FTL as an app on your phone. The website is a Progressive Web App (PWA), which means that it can function like a regular mobile app. To use it as an app, just look in your browser's menu for an option to "Add to home screen", "Install app", or similar, depending on which browser you're using.

Enjoy!

FTL Merch Now Available!

You asked for it; now it's here!

We are excited to announce that we now have an official FTL Merch shop. We found a print-on-demand service that has worldwide production partners. That means the products are printed close to where you live, and the shipping cost is reasonable! Most other merch options we explored would have been prohibitively expensive for non-US residents (i.e. most FTLers).

Each purchase you make provides a small amount support to help keep the FTL app up and running. The amount of support we get from each item ordered is exactly the same (regardless of item price), so just order whatever you like. We greatly appreciate any and all support and hope you enjoy repping the FTL brand out in public. :)

The "Official" FTL t-shirt is the fancy "Triblend" fabric in Charcoal Black. I really like the look and feel of this material, and I personally feel it is worth the extra 8 bucks or so. But the other shirts are great, too, and there are TONS of color options to choose from.

Please have a look and let us know what you think. Are the prices reasonable? Any feedback or product request would be greatly appreciated. Would you like to be able to order a different combination of logo color, shirt color, and fabric? We can set that up pretty easily if you have a specific request.

Monthly Standings for November

Here are the final monthly standings for November.  Congrats to Dragan Josifoski who finished top of the pile in the final game month of the season.

It was a tricky little month to negotiate with only two game weeks.  Game Week 35 saw the inevitable deluge of withdrawals and many of us struggled to field a competitive team while game week 36 featured the tour finals so everyone had very similar teams. Those that took a gamble on a couple of next gen players were ultimately rewarded.

Here is a breakdown of the top 6 competitors in the month of November.

Dragan had two terrific game weeks taking top spot in Game Week 35 and an impressive 5th spot in the final game week with a team that included Next Gen finalist Arthur Fils and two other next gen players.

Congrats to Dragan and all the others who finished the FTL season on a high!
